SCHOOL SUPPLIES NEEDED!

Again this school year, the Daughters will be putting together school kits for the Festival of Sharing.  Our sewing group makes the cloth bags and anyone who desires may purchase the school supplies.  Special boxes for these supplies will be located in each narthex.  School supply specials are starting to be advertised.  The following is a list of supplies needed for one kit:

▪ 1 pair blunt child’s scissors

▪ Pads or notebooks of 8.5X11 ruled paper containing 140-200 sheets

▪ 1 – 12 inch ruler

▪ 1 pencil sharpener

▪ 6 new pencils with erasers

▪ 1 large eraser

▪ 1 box of 24 crayons

The Outreach Committee will be holding a peanut butter and jelly drive during the month of August.  During the summer with children out of school the pantries are bare and need our peanut butter and jelly.  All donations will be given to Metropolitan Lutheran Ministries. Please place your donation in the narthex.
